We use our special gifts to serve God

“Serve only the Lord your God.”
-Deuteronomy 13:4

Bezalel the Master Craftsman
Exodus 35:30-33; 36:1-6

Bezalel was chosen by God Himself to build the tabernacle.  Why?  Well, he was a master craftsman.  He was an expert in metalworking, engraving, mounting precious stones, and carving.  He also knew about fabric work and other textile specialties.  Read the passage and find out how many skills Bezalel possessed.

We often think of talents as what we see performed on television – singing, dancing, and entertaining.  God’s definition of talent is much more than that.  “For we are God’s masterpiece.  He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.” -Ephesians 2:10

God has plans for you that only you can do.  God won’t ask you to sing a solo if you can’t carry a tune in a bag.  However, what He will ask is that you use the gifts He has given you to serve Him.

Ask God to show you what you can do, then be ready and eager to work.
Remember, we can accomplish more by working together.
