Welcome to Calvary Chapel Greensboro! We are delighted that you have chosen to learn more about our fellowship. Our mission is to be servant leaders who reach the lost and broken with the Gospel of Jesus, to love and help one another in daily life, and to teach people the Bible and how to follow Jesus. Our church is a place that encourages and nurtures the gifts and talents of people to get them involved and make a difference in the lives of others.

Calvary Chapel Greensboro is not a part of any denomination, but we are affiliated with the Calvary Chapel Association of Churches, and we share these common beliefs:

We believe the Bible to be the inspired, authoritative Word of God. Therefore, we place great emphasis on the teaching of the Bible verse-by-verse.

We believe that there is one true living God, who eternally exists as the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

We believe that God the Son, Jesus Christ, was born of a virgin,  led a sinless life, worked miracles, and died on the cross to pay for the sins of every person. He rose bodily from the grave, and then ascended to the right hand of God.

We believe that Jesus paid the price for our sins by dying on the cross and resurrecting from death. When we ask Jesus to forgive our sins and receive Him as Lord and Savior, by confessing this with our mouth and believing with our hearts, we receive His forgiveness and come into a saving relationship with Him.

We believe in the Holy Spirit, who enables believers to live a godly life; He comforts, teaches, guides, and empowers us to tell others about Jesus Christ.

We believe it is important to be obedient to the Bible. Therefore, we practice water baptism as an outward expression of an inward change, and we celebrate communion as a rememberance of what Jesus did for us and His promise to return for us.
